Original artwork description
On my first day in Venice, the weather was rainy which really dampened my spirits as my visit was for only 2 days. As soon as I reached St. Marks square, it started raining. After the shower, while walking towards the cathedral, I was attracted by the reflections of the sky and the people on the wet pavement. I just had to paint this!
I’ve used watercolors mixed with white on a tinted paper to replicate the mood of a gray day and to give a sense of homogeneity.

Artist category watercolor pigments, tinted paper
