We live in the Forest and we love in the Forest, what could be more poetic? I made this with such joy, wishing us all a better future.
A drypoint etching means that I have with a sharp tool drawn the image onto the aluminium plate, raising a burr, that then catches the ink. Drypoints are fragile, as every time they go through the press, each time I print a print, pressure is applied that flattens the burr.
When the prints are dry I hand color them with water color, this also means that each print might have small color variations, I hope you treasure this as part of handmade original prints.

In the Forest measures in paper, a warm white heavy weight best quality printmaking paper, 19" x 15" ( 48 cm x 38 cm )
and the printed area measures 15,5" x 9,5" ( 39 cm x 24 cm ).
Each print comes signed, titled and numbered, in an edition of 35 prints, please note you might not receive the number in the photo.

I ship from my studio in Denmark with many years experience in packing my art so it arrives safely, see my many happy reviews.
thanks so much for looking and come back soon, Mariann
