Original artwork description
A classic landscape oil painting of water lilies in a pond, it reminds of various paintings within Claude Monet’s Water Lily series. The resemblance is especially strong for the impressionistic works created by Monet between 1914-1917, which specifically served as my inspiration for this piece.
It is a large painting that will fit splendidly into any room of any interior, bringing into it a stroke of gallant classicism and a piece of nature, rich with green, blue-ish with a little bit of pink and yellow colors, a freshness of water amid the forest trees during the blooming season. Done with steady, deliberate brushstrokes, “Water Lilies” has a traditional texture of oil paints on canvas, introducing a note of splendor and adding respectability to wherever it hangs.
