This painting was created when spectacular northern lights lit up the skies for a few nights. Press and social media were full of amazing pics of the aurora borealis. Even though the painting wasn’t inspired by them initially - I was already in later stages of the process - I instantly saw the similarity to this nature phenomenon the moment I saw one of these pics and knew that this was the perfect title. The pink lights up a blue sky above a dark green landscape like the aurora borealis!

This large-scale nature inspired abstract is a real statement piece, that will be an eyecatcher on every wall. It will match a modern interior as well as a classical one.
