I painted this house beneath the warm skies of Provence, where the air carries the scent of herbs and sunlight. Every brushstroke was bold and textured, as if the earth itself were guiding my choice of colors. The old walls of the house hold the silence of southern evenings and the breath of time. The red roof tiles glow like fire against the cool blue sky. I wanted to capture not the precision of lines, but the living mood of this place. Light moves across the facade, dissolving forms into vibrant patches of color. I saw in this house a character that was simple, strong, and slightly thoughtful. The dark outlines emphasize the strength of the architecture and the movement of my hand. Nature around it seems to speak with the house through the language of light and color. For me, this painting is a memory of a warm day filled with freedom and inspiration.
