I love the mountains and the trees that grow on them. Aspens are my favorite trees and the dark evergreens help make sunlit snow and really pop. We were on a hike, later in the afternoon. The sun was getting low on the horizon and that sweet light warmed everything up. This time of day is my favorite time to paint on location or take photos. My painting is in a dark frame and is ready to hang on your wall.
