Speaking of his great work, War and Peace, he said it's "not a novel, even less is it a poem, and still less a historical chronicle". Whether a novel or a great work of philosophical discussion, War and Peace represents a pinnacle of Russian Literature in the 19th Century. Using the title page of this epic work, I have illustrated here an acrylic portrait of the great Russian writer and philosopher.
Illustrated on a hammer embossed fine art paper, this one-of-a-kind artwork is finished by floating in an inch deep, 7x7'' black frame.
