A girl walks barefoot through a yellow flower meadow, her shoes in hand.
She enjoys the cool damp ground beneath her feet, at the start of another long warm late summer day.
On her way to town.
This mixed media / collage artwork is made with layers of acrylic paint and magazine paper. Arranged over each other in such a way that a deeply layered whole is created.
The inspiration for this technique is the torn posters and peeling paint found on old city walls
