Visually powerful painting. The story behind it - a hopeful girl dreaming of a life outside of a refugee camp - is uplifting. It is also ironic that this girl can find happiness in a refugee camp while many “successful” people are so sad and lonely.

I just love this piece! It was a gift for a recent college grad moving to NYC and she loved it. db Waterman is one of my favorite artists--I really like the collage style, the colors, the curiosity, emotion and thought that her pieces elicit.

This artwork is SO beautiful! It's colorful and complex--really looks fantastic on my wall. I hope to buy another collage from db Waterman in the future. She was great at communicating with me, the delivery was quick, and the packaging was perfect. I couldn't be happier.
