Waddesdon Trees (2014) Linocut by Alexandra Buckle

A reduction linocut of the light fading behind some trees at National Trust's Waddesdon Manor.

This print made it through to the last round of judging for the 2015 Royal Academy Summer Exhibition.

A reduction print is a relief print formed with layers of colour that are cut and printed from the same block, in this case, from lino. This is one of a small edition of prints, all of which are printed by hand so small variations occur between them making each one truly original.

This work is printed with water-based, light-fast inks on Somerset Satin paper and has a beautiful matt finish. It is numbered, titled and signed at the bottom, mounted in a neutral colour and wrapped in cellophane to keep it clean. The mounted work will fit straight into a standard off-the-shelf 8x10inch frame.

This artwork will be packaged in a bubble envelope with plenty of card support for safety.

Printed on Somerset Satin with water-based light-fast inks. Mounted to fit into a standard 8 x 10 inch frame.
