Painting created from an unfinished work started a year earlier.
Different layers of paint build a landscape of textures, stains, marks, glazes...
A symbol widely used by the author emerges from the work and takes a leading role. This kind of banner, inspired by Neolithic symbols related to the domain of agriculture, symbolizes for the author, nonconformity, fighting spirit, triumph of life.
Somehow this symbol connects very well with some of the lyrics of the fantastic Franco Battiato.
