I created this artwork with passion and intensity, drawing from the mystery of existence. Expressionist brushstrokes blend with surrealist elements to explore reality beyond common perception through evanescent hues, to offer a conjunction of dream world and history in a fan-like opening of playing cards, perhaps as an invitation to have to shuffle them. The hypnotic gaze of the mysterious woman's face emerges as if from a dream among the shadow of the bronze equestrian sculpture commemorating Cosimo I de' Medici, as an imprint of the past that still continues to extend to us. Each detail invites the viewer on a metaphysical journey, prompting reflections on the boundaries between dream and reality.
