Original artwork description
This floral artwork touches the boundaries of abstraction with its treatment. Violet is a strong color and it has been enhanced by the white of the canvas. I poured acrylic inks on the canvas and let them run freely, finding their own place on the surface.
Expressive brushstrokes merely helped them along, creating a drooping flower with shiny violet petals with yellow center. It was a conscious decision not to overdo things, leaving some areas unpainted.
Painted on a standard stretched canvas, the artwork has been varnished for added protection.
Framing:
It has been framed using a smooth white wooden tray frame, no backing is used. Kindly allow 5-7 days to ship.
