This figurative sculpture has been created from multiple manipulated pieces of 12" vinyl music records. The lava-like form is directly inspired by the significant volcanic and geological coastline of East Lothian, where Seona spends much of her spare time.
The female figure is mounted upon untreated Scottish oak, with gold mirror and black perspex detail. Seona's fine art practice and interest in geology contrasts with modern materials.
