The inspiration of ‘Vimlan’s Garden’ was a photograph sent to me by a friend in England – of a blossom tree in her garden.
I love back gardens. I grew up in the ‘back garden’ with its lawns, fruit trees, vegetables and hills hoist.
Also Since Covid 19 has resulted in isolation or lockdown, people have been posting on Facebook, photos of gardens from their windows.
These glimpses into the ordinary lives of others are truly fascinating.
