Original artwork description:

Catalonia has felt like a second home to me for many years. Since 2017, I’ve been documenting the visual language of el procés catalán—the ongoing political tension between Catalonia and Spain.

This work isn’t about pushing my own political views. It’s about observing, collecting, and telling the story from the street—through the messages left behind on walls, lampposts, signs, and windows.

This piece is part of my Views From The Street series, where I use hundreds of my own photographs—stickers, tags, graffiti, and found text—to create layered artworks that capture the mood, conflict, and conversations happening in cities across Europe.

The artwork comes in a simple, minimalist box frame with no glass (the vinyl is UV-resistant), but I’m happy to discuss other framing options to suit your space.

It is signed on both the front and back and comes with a signed certificate of authenticity. The piece will be carefully packaged with bubble wrap and strong cardboard, and shipped via insured courier for peace of mind.

Custom commissions are welcome—if you’d like something similar in different dimensions, just get in touch.

Materials used:

I design each piece digitally, then print it on high-quality photographic vinyl, which is mounted onto foam board. From there, I build up varying block heights and carefully hand-glue each photo square in place, creating a striking layered effect.
