This painting "View Onto the Marsh" is painted from my imagination inspired by the scenery inside and outside of my home. When painting I transform what inspires me through color's and brushstrokes adding to or detracting certain elements at will. This particular painting was actually inspired by one of the many beautiful views here where I live on Cape Cod. It was painted during the pandemic and reflects my sense of loneliness and separateness I feel during this time. It is also instilled with the joy of color and beauty that amazes me everyday.
