The views from Glastonbury Tor are breathtaking, 360 degree views from the top! This oil painting was inspired but a recent climb to the top of this National Trust site in Glastonbury, Somerset. The weather that day was beautiful, sun and clouds and very windy at the top. I wanted to capture this feeling of being on top of the world surrounded by beauty and the fresh air and fast moving clouds by using painterly brushstrokes keeping the painting fresh and vibrant.
