Original artwork description
Dramatic emerald, gold and hot pinks/reds. A vibrant palette with lime overtones and gold paint.
Painting flowers as a subject gives me the colour I need to portray movement, texture and feeling into my paintings. When I started painting professionally over 20 years ago I predominantly painted abstract work. I began using flowers in my paintings about 9 years ago while accidentally seeing an abstract meadow in a green palette knife abstract work I was painting. My flower paintings were more abstract then and my work is evolving constantly. I see abstraction in everything and my aim is to continue experimenting with this subject. I am always searching to get feeling into a painting.
Garden of love is my latest work.
