A bright springtime view of Vétheuil across the slow flowing waters of the River Seine in the Val d'Oise as seen from Lavacourt in the ile-de-france region, a well known and popular subject for Claude Monet and the impressionist painters to the north west of Paris. This is from a series of images featuring the River Seine as it flows gently through the ile-de-france and Normandy.
