Verdant Reflections (2026) Original Oil Painting by Paula Berteotti

In this work, the landscape emerges between memory and imagination, where water and light dissolve into layers of color and texture. Turquoise tones and ochres create an evocative atmosphere, while reflections enhance the sense of depth. The composition invites sensory contemplation. The city emerges not as a starting point, but as an environment of greenish hues that harmonize within the silence of the water—contrasting with the energy radiating from urban forms—as the landscape transforms into a state of mind.
