I tried to bring the glow of this Venus of Velasquez, her sensual elegance, into a red room, open to the infinite distances of the great sea. But also overlooking an internal courtyard, surrounded by a wall that separates it from the tangled forest, from which a mysterious call seems to reach the clumsy black dog.
