Description: This robust Earth Mother figure, with its rich earth color palette and stoney texture was inspired after the timeless female archetypes dating from the Old Stone Age. She stands upright within a fragment of a partial vessel which serves as her armature. It gives me a great source of satisfaction to explore and re-visit this theme, which opens itself up to endless interpretation. She is a collector’s piece resplendent in quiet strength through simplicity.
