This watercolor seascape I painted in Venice during Christmas vacation. Generally, the views of Venice are very recognizable. Typical piers, canals, gondolas, and unique architecture. In my case, I was inspired by the sea with its special for north Italian pastel light blue color. I admired sun glares on the water and a variety of shimmering shades of blue and violet. The soft sunlight sinks a seascape to a gentle and a bit mystical vibe. And only boats rush to the faraway horizon.
