This painting is based on direct observation in Venice, later developed into a small, carefully balanced composition. I wanted to capture the charm of its narrow, intimate streets, the cozy atmosphere of its small squares, and the character of its local shops.

The colour palette is rich and vibrant. The painting depicts a lively everyday street scene with figures, creating a warm and narrative atmosphere.

The artwork is varnished for protection. The edges are painted dark brown, so it is ready to hang without framing if desired.

Please note that the wooden stretcher has a small crack. This does not affect the stability, appearance, or quality of the painting in any way.
