This black and white infrared photograph captures bare tree branches standing out sharply against a deep black sky. Shot using a Fujifilm GFX50S converted to full spectrum with a 720nm infrared filter, the branches take on a bright, almost glowing appearance that transforms the scene into something more abstract. The natural forms become simplified into clean, flowing lines, emphasising contrast, structure, and the quiet stillness of the moment.

Veins of Light is printed on Cotton Rag 340gsm in a maximum edition size of 25. The print offered on Artfinder is edition 13/25. This artwork is also available in both larger and smaller sizes by request. Buyers are welcome to get in touch to enquire about alternative sizing options.
