Urban Rural Footpath
I walk this way most days. It looks tranquil just like a country byway. But in truth a main road thunders by to the left, nearly, not quite, drowning out the bird song.
This was an autumn day when the leaves were getting a bit slushy, but the sun was still shining.
I used loads of greens and warm yellows to create a lively and colourful landscape in an impressionistic style.
The painting is strung at the back and the sides painted so it is ready to hang.
