Every day in spring is unusual. Nature is rapidly transforming, reviving after winter hibernation. Leaves have already appeared on the trees, but they have not yet turned into a solid green wall like in summer. You can still see the background through this spring foliage. Sunlight flickers whimsically amongst the chaos of young leaves. An abundance of varied colours and shades. A marvellous time to go to the plein air and paint landscapes.
