The repetitive patterns are hypnotic, allowing to immerse yourself in the blue colour, which, on closer inspection, encompasses the entire spectrum of colours. Repetitive patterns, loops, a pulse. As in minimalism (minimal music). A breath, light flashes, atoms, stars, leaves, etc. Each one is unique. Tones and semitones, looking out of focus, more inward than outward. A meditation on light and color. My Opus 2 is a set of 15 paintings - meditations on colour from the Repeating Patterns series.
