this piece captures a silent exchange over checkered table, a symbolic setting of connection, memory, and disconnection.
The figure in the foreground, mid-sip, seems present yet inward, while the other turns away — their back becoming a soft wall. The repetition of geometric patterns mirrors the repetitive thoughts or emotional loops we fall into when connection falters.
This work reflects on the language of posture, gesture, and presence — how much we communicate without a single word, and how often silence is the loudest part of a moment shared.
