Original artwork description
Solid ceramic profile of a woman, her chin resting in the palm of her hand whilst she playfully bites on one finger. As with all the pieces in the ‘Under Pressure’ series, which are designed to emulate human emotions that are otherwise hard to describe, the head stops just below the eyeline to lend an anonymity to the piece and attention is paid to the pressure points where fingertips meet flesh. Finished with a black iron oxide wash to further accentuate depth and shadow. 13cm w x 15cm h x 14cm d
