Original artwork description
I prepared this canvas with a layer of flour dissolved with water and glue in order to make inhomogeneous surface to be painted. Then I squirted rapidly with charcoal the main profiles of the trees and I fixed everything with a first layer of color obtained with the carmine red and chrome yellow. Finally I finished the painting with cerulean blue and ultramarine.
avevo preparato questa tela con uno strato di farina sciolta con acqua e colla vinilica allo scopo di rendere disomogenea la superficie da dipingere. Poi ho schizzato rapidamente con il carboncino i profili principali degli alberi ed ho fissato tutto con un primo strato di colore ottenuto con del rosso carminio e giallo di cromo. Infine ho finito la pittura con blu ceruleo e azzurro oltremare.
