“The Lost Choice” is a project that explores situations in which choice formally exists but is, in reality, impossible. It is rooted in the female experience of living under social pressure, responsibility, and predetermined circumstances, where decisions are made not out of freedom, but necessity.

The works address a past that has already occurred — experienced as trauma, yet understood as completed. Rather than focusing on pain itself, the project examines the moment of internal shift: turning away from what has happened without erasing it, and growing beyond it.
“The Lost Choice” speaks about transformation, maturity, and the emergence of inner agency that arises not because of choice, but in spite of its absence.

Materials used:

Fabric, threads, beads
