Alena Kuschnereit is a German multidisciplinary artist of Russian origin, working at the intersection of painting, graphic art, and textile practices.

Her artistic practice has taken shape over more than sixteen years: three years of training in painting and drawing at ILS, Germany;

a year of mentorship under contemporary artist Gleb Skubachevsky;

study of contemporary art through educational programs at MoMA (Museum of Modern Art, New York);

courses in curating, exhibition practice, and art management.

Her work has been shown at international contemporary art fairs including World Art Dubai (Dubai) and ArtAnkara (Ankara), as well as in group and solo projects in Germany and abroad: in London with The Holy Art Gallery (2023), and in Paris and Hamburg with Marziart International Gallery (2021) and Grace Denker Gallery (2019, 2020, 2021): "Urban Concept," "Creative Alliance," and "Timeless Impact." Her work has been featured in publications including Art Craft Living, MerziArt Magazine, Artist CloseUp Magazine, and the 30*30 Project.

Alena Kuschnereit explores themes of female identity, transformation, memory, migration, choice, and belonging. Material and process are an essential part of her artistic language.
