Two robust terracotta jugs dominate a richly colored table, their warm sienna and coral surfaces illuminated by flashes of yellow light amid a swirling symphony of cobalt, crimson, and mauve. Pomegranates — that most Armenian of fruits — cluster in the foreground alongside bowls and smaller vessels, each object dissolving into the next in a joyful collision of color and texture. Thick impasto strokes build a surface that practically vibrates with energy, transforming humble kitchen objects into an exuberant celebration of pigment, light, and the simple abundance of the table.
