- Two Barns in the Yorkshire Dales
Original artwork description
Early Spring in the Yorkshire Dales. A footpath leads between two dry stone walls through wild flower meadows, past your trees in blossom, to a large stone barn. On the horizon the purple blue haze of the hills and in a field, catching the low weak sun, another barn nestled into the valley.
The painting is on canvas and has been painted with a careful choice of colours to give a feeling of fresh new Spring growth and light. An underpainting of pink hues gives warmth to the artwork and it sits in a white wooden float frame and is all ready to hang.
