The body is rendered in warm pink-white impasto, modelled against a near-black ground from which it emerges as the only illuminated element. The face is present but partially destabilised: features are readable but carry a quality of interrupted resolution, flesh tones applied in strokes that map structure without smoothing it. A fragment of colour crosses a lower limb. The ground is textured and dark throughout, offering no spatial information; the figure exists suspended without a surface to sit on or against. The posture reads as self-containment under pressure.
