Artwork description:

Standing on the shores of Dyrhólaey I watched as the North Atlantic waves rolled onto the black volcanic sands, reflecting the fading light of the evening sky. The deep purples and soft golds of the sunset stretched across the horizon, casting an ethereal glow over the rugged Icelandic coastline. This long exposure resulted in a beautiful contrast between the black beach and the luminous sky and created a moment of quiet drama—timeless, powerful, and ever-changing.

This piece is printed on premium Canson Aquarelle paper, renowned for its exceptional quality. The paper's delicate watercolour texture and bright white surface enhance the vibrancy and detail of the artwork, resulting in a truly stunning print. The image is handmade here in my studio at a size of 20 x 20 inches, accompanied by a generous 2-inch white border. The border will feature the signature, edition number, and title, elegantly positioned just below the image.
