Original artwork description:

Unusual and beautiful tulips I bought at a flower market in Amsterdam. The colour and shape were both so gorgeous, I could not resist them!
I love garden and wild flowers and the sheer variety available in the Netherlands is incredible.
I couldn’t wait to paint them. We were travelling around in our camper van so you can see a small canal in the background. So the painting is a combination of cultivated flowers in a natural environment setting. My ideal subject.
I have included a photograph of the painting framed to give you an idea of how it would look on the wall but as it’s so dangerous and expensive to send glass and delicate frames by post, I am selling this painting unframed.
