“Tulips” is one of the defining works of my artistic practice. 🌷
In this monumental still life, tulips become a metaphor for the passage of human life — from youth and awakening to maturity, fragility, and fading beauty. Different stages of blooming exist together within one composition, transforming a floral subject into a reflection on time itself.
Through dramatic light, deep contrasts, and layered textures, I wanted each flower to feel alive, emotional, and almost tangible. This work embodies the themes that are central to my art: transformation, impermanence, beauty, and human emotion.
