Fog. That was my association after I had spread a residue of black gesso (chalk-based primer) with a fresh bottle of grey gesso on the canvas. On my trip with the HVV boats on the Elbe two days ago, I noticed my favourite boats again: The tugboats, these little powerhouses. That's how this picture of a tugboat in the fog came about.

The edges are black, the picture can be hung without additional framing.

The picture is covered with a layer of varnish to protect it from moisture.

My paintings are shipped in a cardboard with DHL, TNT or UPS and are insured for the value. If the shipping costs are lower than indicated, the difference will of course be refunded.

Please note, that your order might be a subject to import duties and taxes, they applied, when a painting arrives the destination. I have no controll over these charges and can´t controll the amount. Please contact you local customers office to get informed. Thank you very much.
