Original artwork description
While attending an art conference in Tucson Arizona we visited several local attractions. One of them was a visit to the Tucson Botanical Gardens. Walking through this area of the garden I was struck by its beauty was the inspired to create this painting. I love the tree shapes, with their many twisted and gnarly limbs, and the shadows that lead one into the painting. As I often do I enhanced the color to make it warmer and more vivid evoking a peaceful feeling.
