Original artwork description:
I have a sculptor approach to painting. What kind of images can be created with this material which change state from being fluid in a pot to being dry and solid on canvas is what interest me. Through a particular process of spreading the paint on the canvas i create a picture. With the serie "Ersatz" the idea is to match this painting process beyond paint brushes with a given image as simple as it can be like dots for instance using a matrix underneath the surface.
Materials used:
Acryl paint, canvas, wooden strecher, light varnish and string.
