Arches are like portals to another universe. Passing by them, one always wants to know what is on the other side. Ancient heroes (or anti-heroes), to whom the triumphal arches were erected, left our mortal world for the world of immortality. They will not be forgotten... Although... who knows? For some reason, always looking at triumphal arches, I see (or remember from history) not the moment of triumph itself, but the thorny and bloody path to it. After all, each of us has our own triumphal arch, because we are all striving for something. So there is no guarantee that we will succeed in going all the way. Sometimes we don't know if what we are looking for is there on the other side. But we keep going, don't we?
