Original artwork description
When I set up a still life I like to include objects which have some personal and emotional meaning to me. In this painting the jug is a precious item which belonged to my mother. It has become an heirloom, worth little in monetary terms but which has the much greater value of connection.
The high quality oil paint has been applied with both brush and palette knife giving a slightly textured 'painterly' finish, on linen canvas board which is ready for framing.
Please note that the photograph showing the painting in a home interior environment is NOT TO SCALE
I ship internationally using an insured, tracked and signed for service.
