In this painting, I melded impressionism with realism to capture the serene yet vibrant atmosphere of a historic site that speaks deeply to my sense of culture and spirituality. Through brisk brushstrokes and a harmonic palette, I aimed to evoke a sense of peaceful continuity amidst the chaotic world. This artwork is a reflection of tranquil resilience, intended to bring a breath of spiritual renewal and timeless beauty into your home. I visited the Trinity-Sergius Lavra even during its restoration. And several buildings were in the woods for restoration. I painted a sketch for the Trinity Cathedral from a water tower. It was a pretty hot summer.
