On a winter’s day, with cloud and mist forming a backdrop, the lone tree on the Île de Peilz dominated the horizon at the east end of Lac Léman. With hardly any wind, the surface of the lake was calm and seemed to smooth out into a uniform flat, silver sheet surrounding this tree, which stands looking both out-of-place and, at the same time, dignified and graceful, in a vast expanse of water._x000D_ _x000D_ Limited edition digital Giclée print on Epson archival paper.
