Original artwork description
Tranquility Bay is a commissioned work in oils in (3) 24” x 48” panels, A, B & C. The client wanted a textured, minimalist abstract, done in a calm, neutral palette, to best express a coastal, beach house mood. The image itself is composed of wave-like, breezy forms that flow across the canvases, along with a contrasting texture of small circles that evoke coral or sea foam bubbles, and the additional contrast of vertically etched, parallel lines within a unified composition that stretches across all three panels of larger, intersecting circular ripples. The client is thrilled with the finished work, and if you would like coastal art of your own, please contact me. Heavy duty hanging hardware was installed, and all panels were given a satin varnish for protection.
