Original artwork description:

The loosely defined path through autumn trees was the inspiration for this paintings title. I want the viewer to feel the crunching of fallen leaves as they walk along this path. I love the complimentary pop of colour between the rich yellow and teal blue of the leaves and the loose brush marks describing foliage and forest floor. I use high quality professional oil paints that will not deteriorate over time. The painting is set in a good quality, white painted wood frame with a shadow gap between canvas and frame to enhance the painting.
