An atmospheric landscape shot of the ripples on the beach near Seilebost and Luskentyre on the Isle of Harris (Traigh Losgaintir in the Gaelic). Moody blue dawn light tries to break through the oncoming rain with the mountains in the background. and shining water meanders across the sand. Small pools of light in the sand reflect the colours of the sky. You can wander here in complete solitude, especially in the Winter months.

I photograph and print every image, I do not outsource any part of my workflow. Each print has been painstakingly crafted to ensure the true colours, resolution and texture are exactly as they should be.

For these special small editions of my work I use Canson Aquarelle Paper which has a beautiful watercolour texture.

Canson are one of the oldest paper manufacturers in the world, they have been making paper and canvas for over 450 years in France. Founded in 1557 and printers to Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette, Canson has the choice of many famous artists such as Picasso, Ingres, Chagal and Miro to name but a few. Canson are Eco Friendly - they purchase paper pulp only from forests managed in a sustainable way which also makes them pretty special.
